We all have principles regarding our life, our relationship, personal and social principles that guide our actions and results. When starting a business usually and it’s pretty logical, behind the company name, image and values, stays men. And from this point of view, what we bring with us in business, that shall become the stones for business building. As an important part of the vision and success steps, does no matter how you call it like business etiquette or company customer care, principles are the core foundation for every company, these stands not only for attitude between company products and customer but also, calling on the market, resources management and the motivation why business itself exists.
We did a research online and from all resources, we found 16 brands or companies who intentionally, yes it sounds strange, but intentionally calling themselves Christian brands that promote Christian values and bible principles in Company’s mission, vision, activity, products, and services, messages in advertising and the attitude to people who they serve. Here go, let’s meet them.
All known fast-food chains Chick-fil-A and In-N-Out, showing a big honor to bible principles, so, Chick-fil-A decided to close all fast-food chains on Sundays to allow their workers to worship God at Church, meanwhile, In-N-Out decided to put Bible verses on their label and package. Not too far away, another well-known brand Forever 21 decided to print their bags with a bible verse from John 3:16 that reminds us about God’s love. Even sometimes people will not allow or recognize our principles as Forever 21 experienced it, even a t-shirt with a mark Jesus ♥ You became a reason to unlike the company and the brand, a real principle will be tested in time and will remain for years.
Another brand very popular between woman, Mary Kay, a cosmetics brand are raised up on Biblical principles and according to the founder Mary Kay Ash, God became her partner for business and she declares that company and brand success a due to God who blessed the right motivation of the business.
A famous shoe brand Timberland well-known in the USA and abroad, developed by Jeff Swartz stays on Biblical principles, the owner declares that he believes and trusts came from his Jewish roots.
The flying company Alaskan Air serves not only real food onboard but also spiritual food with bible passages printed on cards along with the meal. Another brand from the flight's industry Jet Blue based on the owner declaration business is settled up based on Bible principles. Marriot hotel a global chain of hotels stays also on Bible principles does no matter what believes company administration has, but the fact that besides the room info Marriot hotels still putting bible in the rooms make them different, along with the fact that in their rooms cable TV are not streaming uncensored and adult video content.
Another brand Interstate Batteries declare in mission statements the main goal is to Glorify God by manufacturing and supplying with the best products. Engraving a belief related to God on products is one of the strategies these companies following, another example is the brand Trijicon a weapons sight maker. A national retail chain Hobby Lobby is proud of its mission statement of the company “Honoring the Lord in all we do by operating the company in a manner consistent with biblical principles”.
We all know these products but we may not be knowing that George Foreman a well-known cooking grills brand and ex. Boxer declares his personal beliefs. Some other brands like Service Master household business, HEB grocery stone chain, Tom’s of Maine, toothpaste brand are following the same principles to set up values and motivation to do business and serving people.
